Job description
As the Senior International Sales Executive, for The Nordics and Europe, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of our day-to-day interactions in these regions to grow our sales. You will report into the Head of International Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and will be responsible for executing a successful strategy that drives sales across all imprints. This role includes nine to twelve weeks of overseas travel per year, so a love for travelling is a must. This is an exciting and multifaceted role that has a tangible impact on our overall success as a team. We value personal effectiveness, being a team player, customer focus, commercial drive and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Your key responsibilities:
• Delivering sales budget targets within the assigned territory
• Planning sales visits and submitting travel plans
• Cultivating and managing relationships with key customers to optimize sales opportunities for front list and backlist
• Promotional and marketing activity in conjunction with the EMEA Head of International Sales, the International Communications team and Macmillan US
• Feeding back on market trends, marketing strategies, popular genres etc to inform current and future acquisition plans
