The Welsh branch of the SYP was officially opened in 2023 becoming the seventh regional branch of the society.
With independent publishing houses existing throughout the country, the Welsh publishing industry is small but mighty covering everything from award-winning literary fiction to vital Welsh language children’s books. These determined indie presses continue to grow internationally drawing attention to the fantastic industry based in the Land of Song. Cymru am byth!
The volunteers behind the branch hope to highlight the flourishing industry in Wales, while assisting publishing hopefuls and those just starting out in the industry with networking and learning opportunities.
