Job description

We are looking for a full time Sales Assistant to support a friendly and dynamic sales team based in London.

The successful candidate will report to the Sales Director and will be responsible for producing and circulating sales and commission reports, processing and releasing orders, creating presentations and circulating materials and being the first point of contact for direct sales enquiries both internally and externally. There will also be some light general admin support for the Managing Director as part of this role.

Other major areas of responsibility include;

– Managing sales materials, mailings & couriering to reps, authors and customers
– Arranging event stock and assisting with stock signings
– Updating systems, setting up discounts & processing retros
– Coordinating & minuting meetings, organising diaries and greeting authors & agents
– Assisting with set up and manning the stand at Book Fairs (London & Frankfurt)
