Job description
We are looking for a Rights Assistant to join our thriving Rights team at Bloomsbury and provide administrative support to those responsible for selling licences and co-editions to the Bloomsbury Academic & Professional and selected Special Interest imprints.
The Role
• General admin support including but not limited to processing contracts, gratis orders, sending out translated author copies, and electronic file supply
• Manage co-edition fulfilment, including loading deals onto Biblio, maintaining schedules, obtaining customer files and approval of materials, invoicing
• Respond to internal and external queries from colleagues, customers and authors
• Support the rights team in preparation for key book fairs and sales trips
• Provide assistance in the preparation of rights guides and catalogues
• Compile and send out email newsletters to customers and maintain contacts lists
• Update the dedicated rights websites
• Manage Osprey’s permissions and police and prevent piracy of Osprey’s intellectual property
The role is based at our Oxford office, Kemp House, Chawley Park, Cumnor Hill, Oxford OX2 9PH on a hybrid-working pattern of two days office-based / three days home-based (or fully office based if preferred). Allocated office days for this role are: Tuesday and Thursday.

• Proficient in Excel and MS office applications
• Confident in use of creative/design software such as Photoshop and email marketing software
• Excellent organisational skills

• Excellent collaborative and communication skills
• An interest in other countries and cultures
