Job description
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Reprint and Inventory Controller to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a key operational role that would suit someone who is highly organised, numerate, and experienced in inventory and stock management within a publishing or similar environment. We offer a hybrid working environment and expect that you will work from our central London office three days a week: on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The role involves:
• Monitoring inventory levels across our warehouse and consignment customers
• Liaising with the sales, editorial and art teams to assess and plan reprint needs
• Producing regular inventory reports to support reprint planning
• Managing the end-to-end reprint process, including raising print orders, tracking schedules and updating inventory metadata
• Coordinating reprint corrections, working closely with editorial and art teams to ensure updates are made accurately and efficiently
• Managing metadata and artwork for print-on-demand titles
• Collaborating with the audio and web teams to deliver essential support for audio projects
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal departments, suppliers and external partners
We’d love it if you had…
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Experience of working in stock or inventory control, ideally within publishing or a related industry
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Biblio, Excel and other MS Office applications will be an advantage (training will be provided where needed)
• Confidence in working with data, systems and processes
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative team player with a flexible, can-do approach
