Are you a creative thinker with a passion for books?

Independent publisher Pushkin Press is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team. This exciting role offers an opportunity to work across Pushkin’s adult and children’s imprints, developing marketing skills as well as providing key administrative support. Reporting into our Senior Marketing Executive, responsibilities will include:
• Managing the Pushkin Press social media channels
• Running and optimising our digital advertising
• Influencer and partnership research and outreach
• Working closely with booksellers on campaigns for key titles
• Creation of POS
• Managing the website and designing basic graphics
• Writing and creating Mailchimps
• Providing general support to the comms team
• Working in close collaboration with other departments including Sales, Design, Editorial and Publicity, as well as with our colleagues in the US to ensure consistency across the Pushkin brand

This is an entry level, full-time role on a fixed term 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension. The role will be based at our Somerset House office in central London, where we currently offer a hybrid working environment (Tuesday – Thursday in the office or fully office-based if preferred).


We’d love it if you had…

You’ll have good copywriting skills and an eye for design, as well as an energetic, self-motivated and flexible approach to work. The role requires strong organisational, time management and interpersonal skills, and an efficient and positive attitude to admin. You don't need to have worked in publishing before but we’re looking for someone who is passionate about books and reading, with a particular interest in Pushkin Press’s lists, who can bring an exciting perspective to how we speak to readers about our wide-ranging list of books.
