Job description

As an International Key Account Executive you will be responsible for supporting five Area Sales Managers and the Regional Director, along with their many customers.

Key responsibilities:
• Deal with daily orders, returns requests and queries received from customers from North, South and Eastern Europe
• In conjunction with Area Sales Managers develop weekly email customer mailings focusing on new titles/authors/ series
• Solve and answer customer related queries and issues delegated by Area Sales Managers
• Run sales reports on available tools and apps (Business Objects, Bibilio, SAP)
• Monitor order dues and sales reports: collating sales information, bundle and merge data in Excel (pivot tables, vertical lookup)
• Manage relationships across a diverse internal network (Operations, Marketing, Customer and Credit Services)
• Manage customer distribution database (excel) and customer mailings
• Manage monthly mailings of publishing programme (Bestsellers and Highlights)
• Provide back up for travelling for Area Sales Managers
• Packing and posting of sales materials to Europe based Area Sales Managers and customers
• Coordinate with Marketing Team on Order Form requests and adapt as necessary for local markets

Essential criteria:
• Experience in both commercial and administrative roles
• Demonstrable customer facing experience with excellent communication skills and a focus on friendly and efficient customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines whilst juggling multiple responsibilities
• Excellent numeric and system skills and ability to learn new applications (SAP, Business Objects, Power BI, Biblio)
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel (formulas: Vlookup) and Powerpoint (design)
• Highly organised and good attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and to solve problems independently
• An interest in International markets and an enthusiasm for books and reading
