Job description
Working with all departments, the Editorial Operations Assistant has an overview of the entire publishing process and is responsible for the smooth flow of bibliographic data across our publishing systems. Responsible for setting up new titles and contract details in our publishing database, Biblio, and running regular checks on data for all imprints, their role is crucial in ensuring that information is complete, correct and timely. They also provide administrative support for cross-departmental processes and the rest of the Editorial Operations team.
The role will be based at our London office, Carmelite House, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about detail, accuracy and systems, and who enjoys data input. The role requires attention to detail, good organisation, an ability to prioritise a busy workload and a sound knowledge of computer packages, particularly Excel. An interest and knowledge of SEO and optimising metadata would be an advantage as well as experience in an administrative role.
