In this one hour session, we will be joined by Subhranil Banerjee, the Managing Editor of SYP and Founding Director of Breathing in the Moment Ltd. and two other industry experts, Olivia Railton and Ieva Wade, as they share their insight on hiring trends, visualisation techniques to reduce anxiety, and future challenges. There will also be the opportunity for a Q&A.

Subhranil Banerjee – Managing Editor of SYP and Founding Director of Breathing in the Moment Ltd:
Subhranil Banerjee brings 25 years of Corporate experience as a Banker in the City of London to his role as an Energy and Life Coach, through his new venture – Breathing In The Moment.
As a HarperCollins Academy alumnus, Subhranil is writing a book, titled ‘GROWING THROUGH CONCRETE, drawing on his humble journey through life’s struggles, performance anxiety stresses, self-doubts and deepening his passion to help his fellow seekers reshape their mindset, find inner joy, and build deeper inner connections with their mind and body. He also volunteers as the Managing Editor of the Society of Young Publishers (UK) supporting aspiring authors and publishing professionals.
A lifelong meditation practitioner since the age of 6, Subhranil infuses his mindset coaching with humour, relaxing breathwork techniques, and healing vibrations of Sound Baths. He’s currently involved in Mindshift Training of Olympic aspirants and finds inspiration in nature, writing and guiding others toward balance and personal transformation.
Olivia Railton – Head of Publisher Partnership at Taylor & Francis Group:
Olivia Railton is Head of Publisher Partnerships at Taylor & Francis, a globally leading academic publishing house, home to imprints such as Routledge and CRC Press. She stepped into this role exactly one year ago, after her experience working for the Managing Director of Books on a variety of strategic projects gave her the opportunity to take on responsibility for a new publisher partnerships programme. Olivia is from the North East of England, studied an undergraduate degree in English and a master’s degree in Film at the University of Cambridge, and joined Taylor & Francis in 2024 rolling off a 2-year graduate programme at parent company, Informa. In her free time, she is an avid boulderer, rock climber, and cinemagoer.
Ieva Wade – Translation Rights Executive at Curtis & Brown:
Ieva Wade is a Translation Rights executive at Curtis Brown, working on international bestsellers such as Margaret Atwood, Elif Shafak, and Claire Keegan. She brings her authors’ work to a global audience, supporting translation rights sales across a wide range of languages and territories. Before Curtis Brown, Ieva worked in Illustrated Rights at Penguin Random House, on authors from Yotam Ottolenghi to Charlie Mackesy. She has also worked in bookselling, proofreading, and various other bookish odd jobs. Her favourite hobbies are that automatic translate button on websites, and failing to convert time zones in her head.
