The Creative Industries Federation called upon the government to recognise the importance of creative industries after triggering Article 50. A year on from the referendum, and a level of uncertainty still remains not only in terms of future development within the publishing industry, but also in terms of Brexit’s financial impact on local authorities such as schools and libraries.
SYP London will be asking: what impact has Brexit had on the creative industries one year on from the referendum? And what, if anything, has changed?
This panel will discuss the positive and negative effects of Brexit on the publishing industry as of 2017. The panel will also consider what we may expect from the publishing industry long-term in response to Brexit, as well as the possible impact of ongoing Brexit negotiations on the creative industries over the coming years.
