Aspiring and existing publishing professionals will have the chance to boost their publishing skills,
with each Publishing Skills Workshop focusing on a different area or skill in publishing. These free,
interactive workshops will be led by industry experts and offer a real chance to learn and take
something away. This year our Publishing Skills Workshops will introduce participants to different
publishing skills from across the book industry and help their skillset and employment opportunities.

How to Hustle!
The world of publishing is constantly moving and it’s so easy to feel left behind while everyone
seems to have a successful ‘hustle’, both inside and outside the industry in order to keep up with the
demands of the publishing world. So ask yourself: Do you know how to ‘hustle’ effectively? Where
do you find the best opportunities? How do you start a ‘hustle’ that allows you to thrive?
Following up from our popular workshop with Ellie Pilcher we now bring to you the self-acclaimed

In this session, find out how to make your own opportunities, build your own network using social
media, remain true to yourself during the process, develop your ‘hustle’ further and much more. If
you want to dive deep into progressive hustling without compromising your personality, apply now!
