Three Women, a book that was nearly a decade in the making, documents the lives of three American women and the dynamics between desire and power. Lina has ended up in a marriage where her husband won’t touch her; Maggie is now rejected by her community after a relationship with her teacher; and Sloane has become an object for other men’s sexual desires. The book is an honest account of sexual politics that highlights the often huge chasm between enticing fantasty and cruel reality.
