SYP London Introduces PubTalks

April 25, 2019 @ 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Spaces for PubTalks in April are now fully booked. Follow along with our Twitter hashtag #SYPPubTalks on the night to catch up with the discussion.

SYP London brings PubTalks: a new series of panel events for students, always free to enter, that explores different and changing facets of the publishing industry from a fresh perspective. Encompassing production, marketing, and editorial work, the publishing industry is very diverse and offers many options. We welcome students from all fields to come and learn what the industry is about, what your options are, and how to get started after university.

We will have a panel of speakers from various departments discussing publishing in general and about their jobs in particular. Attendees will then have the opportunity to ask questions both at the end of the panel and during the optional networking time after the event.

Our first session will be in the Darwin Building at University College London (UCL). The venue can be accessed step-free via a ramp at the rear entrance of the building and a lift to basement level where the event will take place.

We can’t wait to see you all and learn about this wonderful industry together. Get your ticket here!
