We’re so excited to be hosting our hugely popular, annual SYP Book Pub Quiz, raising money to support The Book Trade Charity! Gary Wigglesworth, author of The Book Lover’s Quiz Book, will be returning for the second year running as quiz master and will put your literary knowledge to the test for a chance to win lots of bookish goodies!
You’ll also have a chance to win more prizes along the way in our raffle. Tickets for the raffle are available to buy with your general admission or on the day (please be advised to bring cash for this).
Team sizes should be between 5-7 people, however tickets must be purchased individually. Don’t worry if you’re arriving as an individual, all you need to do is buy a ticket and we will pair you up in a team on the day! Likewise, if you have a group smaller than 5, we will add other pairs/individuals to your group to make the teams even(ish).
Venue: The Loosebox (nearest tube is Westminster or Pimlico)
Date: Friday 10th November 2023
Time: 6.30pm arrival, quiz starts at 7pm
We hope to see you there!

About The Book Trade Charity
The Book Trade Charity exist to support colleagues across the book trade and their families, providing grants and housing when they need it most. They can help with: utilities bills, groceries, transport, medical costs, funeral costs, counselling, household items, relocation, training, development and housing needs.
A SAFETY NET – They act fast to help colleagues at the point of crisis. Putting food on tables, heating homes and keeping the lights on for hundreds of families.
A SPRINGBOARD – but they don’t stop there. They actively drive positive change across the trade and are strongly committed to building a more inclusive and diverse book trade. They have helped hundreds of colleagues to enter the industry, relocate for the job of their dreams and hundreds more gain the skills they need to go further and to realise their potential.
