The SYP meets every year in January in the wonderful setting of the Stationers’ Hall to say goodbye to an old committee and welcome in the new. There will be a recap of the whole SYP year from different committee members followed by a special talk tackling some of the topics that are most relevant to the industry.
Join us on the Monday 23 January 2017 to meet our new committee and to join in the discussion. (Please note that all are welcome to attend but only SYP members can vote on any movements made in the AGM.)
The evening will conclude with some light refreshments.

Our Special Talk this Year will be by Mark Wright from WWF
“Mark has 30 years of experience in conservation and development, working for a variety of international NGOs and the British government. He was formerly the Head of Africa programme and then Science advisor for WWF UK before spending two years in each of Cambodia and Suriname, also for WWF, latterly as Regional Conservation Director for the Guianas. He has field and management experience of conservation programmes relating to protected area management, terrestrial and marine species protection, impacts of mining on biodiversity, and the promotion of sustainability. He is currently the Global Forest & Trade Network manager for WWF-UK supporting businesses in their desire to source only legal and sustainable timber products.”
