Join us for a workshop on all things copywriting – Canongate’s Head of Marketing Vicki Watson (@vixadelic) will teach you how to identify your audience and write engaging copy. The session will cover what makes good copy, how to write & adapt copy for multiple audiences, and tips and tricks on how to write for advertising briefs, retailers, websites and social media channels.

Vicki Watson is Head of Marketing at Canongate, where she manages all aspects of Canongate’s trade and consumer marketing including campaigns, brand, consumer engagement strategies and the marketing team.
She has worked in publishing for 10 years and has worked on campaigns for Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀, Helen Fielding, Matt Haig, Nigella Lawson, Kirsty Logan, Ian McEwan, Jo Nesbø, Samin Nosrat, Karl Pilkington, Anne Tyler and Robert Webb. She has won awards for her campaigns including the Futurebook Award for Best Integrated Digital Marketing Campaign, the BMS Best Marketing Campaign of the Year and seasonal BMS campaign awards for fiction and non-fiction campaigns.
