Books, signings, workshops and celebrities – the literary festival is a book lover’s dream with something for everyone and an opportunity to get up close and personal with the people behind your favourite read. But how does this all come together? With the recent debates around author fees, the SYP are taking a look behind the scenes with those who make the festivals happen.
From booking speakers to curating the programme, from advertising to the event itself, join us at the Wig and Pen at 6.30pm on Thursday 18th February to hear it all from Matt Holland, Founder and Director of Swindon Literature Festival and Jenny Dee, Director of Chipping Norton Literary Festival.
To find the room:
Go to the spiral staircase on the right as you walk in, at the top you walk across to the door opposite and go up another flight of stairs.
An SYP committee member will also be standing downstairs to point people in the right direction.
