How to be a successful publishing freelancer

January 17, 2024 @ 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
£3.00

SYP Wales has partnered with The Publishing Training Centre to deliver a masterclass on freelancing in the publishing industry.

Working in publishing doesn’t necessarily mean securing a permanent job at a publishing house. Freelancing is commonplace in the industry and can offer greater flexibility in terms of when and where you work. So, what does it take to be a successful freelancer in publishing?

In this webinar you will hear from three highly experienced freelance editors on the role of freelancers in publishing, how to set up and run a profitable business, developing client relationships and more.

This event has limited capacity, so book your ticket now to avoid disappointment. SYP members should contact syp.wales.events@gmail.com to request a free ticket. Instructions for joining this online event will be shared with ticket holders in advance. This event will be recorded by the event organisers.
