In this in-person panel event we will be talking with industry professionals: Mark Thornton (Bookshop Partnership Manager at Bookshop.org UK), Catherine Barter (manager at Housmans), Daphne Tonge founder of (Illumicrate), and Liam Bowden (Retail Manager at Waterstones) about the different forms of bookselling that exist in our industry. We’ll cover the history of their respective bookshop/bookselling platform, why it began, how it works, and the place it has in the bookselling ecosystem. This will be followed by an overview of the panelists’ career journeys and a Q&A where you can find out more about the ins and outs of bookselling.
