Anne Ashworth
Anne was educated in Scotland and England and lived on the Queen Mother’s estate as a teenager. She joined the WRNS and was the first unofficial WRN at sea. She has over 30 years’ experience and expertise working in the FE and Skills Sector. She has worked for a number of awarding organisations, been an inspector for the sector since 1999 and has worked at Pearson Plc since 2015.
Suzy Astbury
After studying Media and Theatre at University, Suzy Astbury launched her career in publishing back in 2003. She was a PA to a board of directors at the Quarto Group. Following this she moved within the group into a Sales & Marketing role for the children’s imprint, QED. She then moved into foreign rights at Michael O’Mara before changing careers into publishing recruitment. Suzy now owns and runs leading publishing recruitment agency, Inspired Search & Selection. She uses her own experience of working in publishing along with her fantastic network to help candidates from the beginning of their careers all the way up to appointing the next CEOs at the top of the companies in publishing today.
