Time to get quizzical!

The annual opportunity to test your mental muscles is here again!

We hope you will join us at the hugely (if we may say so ourselves) popular Society of Young Publishers’ Annual Pub Quiz. We’ll be hosting our pub quiz with The Book Trade Charity (BTBS) with all proceeds going to support the charity.

Pub quiz questions are written and presented by Max Bruges, one of the central panellists on popular daytime quiz show BBC1’s Think Tank hosted by Bill Turnbull (http://bbc.in/2atMBvr). Max was named earlier this year as a “thoroughly appealing spod who rocks a bowtie much like Matt Smith did as Doctor Who” by The Guardian and is known on the show as both a Joseph Conrad and Graham Greene fan. Well dressed and well read, we look forward to him hosting our evening!

You will be happy to know that each table will receive a complimentary bottle of red and white wine. The bar and the kitchen will be open throughout the evening to keep you satisfied and ready to answer our thrilling quiz questions.

What you need to do now is gather a team of max. 6, or sign up as an individual and we will place you in a team. Not only is it a fun event, but it’s also a great opportunity to meet interesting new people in the industry that you might not have had a chance to bump into otherwise!

The winning team will win a combination of goodies that we hope you will enjoy.
