Job description

Are you passionate about the world of book selling? We have an exceptional opportunity for a Trade Sales Executive to join a well-established publisher in a rapidly growing area of the business.

As a Trade Sales Executive, you will proactively pursue leads and build relationships across the trade. You will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Publishing teams, as well as distributors and rep teams, to engage directly with booksellers, enhancing brand awareness, increasing sales, and expanding the presence of MUP globally.


We’d love it if you had…

- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in global sales, preferably in the publishing or book industry.
- Strong understanding of international markets and distribution channels.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Target-driven and sales-focused
- Organised and methodical
- Proactive and self-motivated
