Join us for our first virtual industry day held in partnership with Bath Spa University’s Publishing Futures Lab!

This convention, which will be hosted on Zoom, is for all would-be publishing entrants or those already in the industry looking for advice or insights for furthering their career with a particular emphasis on championing regional access and inclusivity across the industry.

The day-long event will include panels featuring a broad range of panellists who will share their experiences of the industry and give advice and tips for those hoping to succeed in publishing. There will also be a chance to network with panellists and attendees at the end of the day.

The event schedule includes:

12.30–1pm Keynote Welcome Address

1–1.45pm: Publishers Big and Small

2–2.45pm: Connecting Books to Readers

3–3.45pm: Creating a Nurturing Industry for Everyone

4–4.45pm: The Road Less Travelled: Taking a Different Career Path

4.45-5pm: Closing Note

5-5.30pm: Build Connections: opportunity to chat and meet other lovely publishing folk in breakout rooms (come with your own glass of something, after all it’s 5 o’clock online!

All proceeds from the event will be divided between the Book Charity Trust and FareShare Southwest.
