Due to Covid-19 we have moved our meeting online while we all try do our bit to encourage social distancing and help keep everyone keep safe. During times of crisis we often turn to books as an escape from the stress and uncertainity that surrounds us. That is why this month our choosen theme is “comfort reads” – gentle, reasurring, feel good novels that have proven to be a great source of relief in times of trouble.

Synopsis:Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March are raised in genteel poverty by their loving mother, Marmee, in a quiet Massachusetts town while their father serves as an army chaplin during the American Civil War.
