SYP North: On the Up

Back in 2015, SYP’s most northerly English branch had come to a halt. Committee issues and trying to cover too wide a region (it was originally ‘North & Midlands’) had taken their toll, and it was time for a reboot.

Enter some fresh committee members, a rebrand to ‘North’ and a more streamlined approach – and 2016 saw a shiny new SYP branch.

With a focus on hosting alternative events between Manchester and Leeds, as well as popping up at literary festivals and universities across the region, here’s just a snapshot of what we’ve held or taken part in since:
