Get Discounted Entry to Society of Authors Conference!

The SYP is pleased to announce that the Society of Authors is offering SYP members a discount on tickets to its Children’s Writers and Illustrators Group Conference, taking place at Reading University on 14–16 September 2012.

SYP members can claim the SoA members’ rate for the weekend ticket if they book before April 10. After this date SYP members can claim the members’ rate if two people book together. Eligible non-members who are interested in joining the Society of Authors can also take advantage of a joining offer of a 15 (rather than 12) months subscription.

Joined-Up Reading offers a chance to catch up with these changes. Headline speakers will discuss a wide range of issues and there will be plenty of practical seminars. This will be our sixth conference and, as ever, we aim to provide information, entertainment, inspiration and an opportunity to network. There will not be another weekend residential conference until 2016, if at all.
