The Great British SYP Picnic

On 14 August members of the SYP gathered for the society’s annual picnic on Hampstead Heath. Those of you who thought better of trekking out to Hampstead in the rain, missed the following
· A huge array of food
· A dog that attacked afore mentioned food, and buried its nose in the cous cous salad.
· A torrential downpour that finished off most of the other food.
· An attempt to fly a kite bought from a pound shop . Massive fail.
· The flinging of a Frisbee round in circles
· A mass exodus to a nearby pub where we managed to sneak in the leftover food and alcohol and consume it on the sly
· The spotting of celebrities.
· Intellectual publishing discussion along the lines of people pondering whether sub rights were those reserved for underwater territories.
It was actually quite fun. Do join us next year
