SYP Oxford Committee 2017
Welcome the new 2017 SYP Oxford Committee!
The Oxford branch of the SYP is run by a group of enthusiastic and friendly volunteers - we put on regular speaker events, socials, book clubs and much more for people interested in publishing based in Oxford and the surrounding area.

We can't wait to have a fantastic 2017 with you and hope to see you at our fun speaker and social events throughout the year!

Upcoming events
o    Oxford Literary Festival - 25th March 2017 to 2nd April 2017

‘The Oxford Literary Festival has in my mind become the leading literary festival of the year. The organisation, the roster of speakers, the ambience and the sheer quality of it all is superb. May it now go from strength to strength each year stretching its ambition more and more. I believe it will.’ Tim Waterstonefounder of the Waterstones bookshop chain

After reading Fates and Furies by Laura Groff at our last book club, we will be discussing The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan on the 4th April, at the Jericho Tavern.

Venue: Jericho Tavern, 56 Walton Street
Oxford, OX2 6AE United Kingdom

When: Tuesday 4th April
Time: 6:30 pm

We hope you come join us for a wee drink or two to talk about The Joy Luck Club!

Originally for under-35s, it's now open to anyone and caters especially for those with fewer than ten years' publishing experience. We organise a large number of events and publish a quarterly magazine called InPrint. Some services, such as viewing all the amazing jobs out there, are available only to members. If you're not already a member, why not join now?

Do you have any fresh ideas?
If you have any news or information that you’d like us to include in future SYP newsletters, please send it to Laura.
