Taylor & Francis Group, a leading global academic publishing company, are currently recruiting for a full-time Digital Product Manager to join a dynamic, innovative team within their Routledge Books division. This team play a pivotal role in the success of the company’s most important digital projects. The successful candidate would be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure each project is delivered on time, to the highest standards, delivering the maximum value.
Responsibilities will include:
• Shaping and implementing the company’s digital strategy
• Performing excellent market research to ensure that every aspect of the project meets the needs of the market, using such tools as questionnaires, academic calling, and class testing
• Maintaining close ties with key stakeholders (including external vendors, authors, Commissioning Editors, librarians, academics and researchers) to ensure clear lines of communication and successful working relationships.
Ideally you should be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills, show good attention to detail, demonstrate the ability to communicate well with different parts of the business, show good problem-solving skills, work well both independently and as part of a team, and possess a positive attitude. A willingness to work with confidence, flexibility, and creativity will also be an advantage.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to BA level (or equivalent) or will have experience of working within a publishing house, demonstrating a good working knowledge of the industry.
This position is based at their head offices in Milton Park, Abingdon.
