UK Young Publishing Entrepreneur award 2010

The deadline for applications for the UK Young Publishing Entrepreneur award 2010 has been extended until 14 December. The market focus for the study tour is South Africa. This will be an amazing opportunity for the finalists to gain a ‘shorthand’ of this emerging market, visiting Cape Town and Johannesburg to learn about the dynamics of the sector, and attend the 13th Time of the Writer International Writers’ Festival in Durban. The winner of the award will receive a £5,000 prize to be spent on a UK/South Africa collaborative project. Applicants must be aged 25-35, with three years industry experience and be UK based. They are happy to hear from those who aren’t self employed (as long as they can demonstrate their entrepreneurial ability) and from those in the social enterprise/not for profit sector.
