Lucy Martin, Publicity Manager at Little, Brown
Lucy grew up in the West Midlands and after working as a Waterstones bookseller when leaving university, secured an entry-level job in the publicity team at Little, Brown Book Group. Since then, she has worked on Sunday Times bestselling campaigns, been shortlisted for a PPC award and is now a Publicity Manager working on a range of fiction and non-fiction titles. She is also the co-chair of the All Together Network, Hachette’s network for employees from lower socio-economic and regional backgrounds and is passionate about increasing representation, retention and working conditions for people from lower socio-economic and/or regional backgrounds in the publishing industry and creative arts more generally.Ella Davidson, founder of The Book Publicist

A former Bookseller Rising Star and one of the Publisher Association’s People of Publishing 2024, Sabah Khan is an award winning Publicity Director (Adult, Fiction & Non-Fiction) at Simon & Schuster UK working across a variety of titles including Colleen Hoover, Britney Spears, Bob Mortimer and Ruth Ware. She was co-chair of Simon and Schuster’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council and has always been a key supporter and driver of diversity and inclusion initiatives. Rory Codd is the Senior Press Officer at Farshore, a children’s publishing division of HarperCollins. He began his publishing career in 2021 with an internship at HarperCollins Ireland and holds a BA (Hons) in English Studies and an M.Phil in Children’s Literature from Trinity College Dublin. Rory works across all strands of Farshore’s children’s and YA books, and specialises in gaming and pop culture, working with licensed publishing from global brands. He has been named a Printing Charity Rising Star, a London Book Fair Trailblazer, and one of The Bookseller Rising Stars.
